Marianne Andenæs

Marianne has over ten years of experience in communication, leadership, and political affairs.
She has a strong background in the university sector, having served as President of the National Union of Students in Norway (NSO), Communications Adviser at the University of Oslo, and Secretary Leader of the Association of Norwegian Student Welfare Organisations. In these roles, she was responsible for policy development, media relations, and government advocacy, including crisis communication during the pandemic.
Marianne has extensive experience in politics as an active member and elected representative of the Labour Party. She is the Deputy Leader of Bærum Ap and an elected member of the Committee for Climate, Environment, and Development in Bærum Municipality.
She holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Oslo, specialising in statistics, public policy, and natural resource management. In spring 2025, she will complete a master’s course in strategic communication at BI Norwegian Business School, where she is writing a project thesis on reputation management in the energy sector.
